Star power too much as FC Dallas fall 3-2 to Los Angeles

FC Dallas fought until the end, but goals from DP’s Giovani dos Santos, Robbie Keane, and Steven Gerrard were too much to over come as FC Dallas fall to 3-2 to Los Angeles. The Galaxy started strong with two goals in the first fifteen minutes as dos Santons and Keane were able to get goals to put them to a comfortable 2-0 lead early on. Dallas would not lie down though as Barrios added one in the thirty-fifth minute to get the score to 2-1 before halftime.

Los Angeles thought they put Dallas away in the fifty-seventh minute as Steven Gerrard was able to knock in a rebound in to put the Galaxy up 3-1. It looked like Dallas was going to be handed a rough defeat, but Atiba Harris made things interesting late as he was able to bring Dallas back within one goal and set up Dallas a chance to tie the game late. Dallas pushed, but they were not able to get the goal to tie the game and fall in Los Angeles.

FC Dallas returns home as they take on the Houston Dynamo in the Texas Derby match up Sunday at 4 PM on ESPN2.
