Lineup Prediction and Analysis: August 29, 2015

FC Dallas has a three game losing streak and the offense has pretty much been non-existent in that stretch with one goal over the last three games.  Here is the lineup expected for tonight.

Goalkeeper: Jesse Gonzalez

You can’t really fault him for that goal against Vancouver. He played well, but he did not need to come up big.

Left Back: Zach Loyd

This will last one more game with Je-Vaughn Watson going on international duty next week.

Center Back: Matt Hedges

He can barely walk, but will give it his all

Center Back: Je-Vaughn Watson

He has not been bad at the position and frankly it gives Dallas a better match-up option on crosses into the box.

Right Back: Moises Hernandez

With Atiba Harris suspended, I think this is Hernandez big chance to prove he can play. Hollingshead might start here, but i think Oscar goes with Hernandez.

Central Defensive Midfielder: Victor Ulloa

I am not actually confident in this pick after Ulloa zoned out against Vancouver to allow the game winning goal. Cirigliano could get the start tonight.

Central Defensive Midfielder: Kellyn Acosta

He has grown a lot this season. He needs to help the offense tonight.

Left Attacking Midfielder: Fabian Castillo

Maybe an international call-up will boost his confidence as he wants to show his home country they made a good decision.

Central Attacking Midfielder: Mauro Diaz

Oscar said he will play this week. The question is which Diaz shows up tonight.

Right Attacking Midfielder: Micheal Barrios

If you said Barrios would be the most consistent player over the month of August back in April people would have laughed. Barrios needs help though.

Striker; Blas Perez

It really is put up or shut up for Perez. Quit whining and show why you deserve a lot of money next season for a striker that is on his last legs.

Real Salt Lake is really in a do or die situation. Lose and the playoffs are pretty much done. Win and they still hang on by a thread. For Dallas they need to win with San Jose breathing down their neck and Seattle is always dangerous. Both teams need a win bad tonight. So who gets the crucial three points? None of them.

FC Dallas tie 1-1.
