Practice Report: June 18, 2015

practice report bumperIt has been an odd week as expected with U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday and then a quick turnaround with a game on Friday at Colorado. After a day a of recovery, a lot of the players are still getting their feet under them, especially the ones who just returned from World Cup Qualification.

Set Piece Day

Just as usual, the day before the game was when the team worked a lot of set pieces. Michel and Mauro Diaz both worked corners as expected so nothing new there.  Only Stephen Keel and Tesho Akindele were not at practice. The team did not give a reason on both players, but for Akindele it ls likely rest after the World Cup qualification games.

Oscar holds team meeting

Oscar Pareja at the end of practice held a meeting on the field with the team as they discussed things. Pareja showed a lot of emotion as he is trying to rally the team to get three points as this team is desperate for a win in league play.
