Texas Spurs Look To Stay Top Of Division In Two Games This Weekend

The Texas Spurs come into the weekend playing well in their inaugural season, and will be taking on two Houston teams at home on Friday and Sunday. The first game will begin at 5pm on Friday June 11th at Dallas Christian College against the Houston Aces, one of the stronger returning teams in the WPSL.

The second game will be on Sunday June 13th against the Texas Titans, a new brand new WPSL team this season. Both games will be a battle and the Texas Spurs is looking to collect six points to keep their position at the top of the Big Sky conference on their home field this weekend.

The Texas Spurs are 3-1-0. They had two big wins at home against the Oklahoma City FC and the FC Tulsa Spirit, and one big win away against the Fort Worth Panthers, wining 3-0 in the second half. They fell 0-1 off a PK to the Austin Aces, who they will meet again June 23rd on the Spurs home field. The Spurs have set the tone for a successful season and are looking forward to the upcoming weekend matches.
