Arizona United Continue Road Trip Against Los Angeles Galaxy II

Arizona United return to action tonight as they take on Los Angeles Galaxy II at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Arizona started the season with a win as they beat the Orange County Blues 2-1. LA Galaxy II have already played two games this season, but have only come out with one point so far. Last season, Arizona went winless against LA Galaxy II and hope this season is different, but Arizona head coach Michael Dellorusso knows that it will be a difficult task as he told Jeff Wendt of odfcnews.com.

“They’re a talented group,” Dellorusso said. “They have forwards that can be very dangerous in front and in behind. Across the midfield, they have a good mix of veteran guys and youth guys. It’s what they did really well last year. They didn’t just bring in young academy players, they went out and got veterans that know how to play in the league and get organized and help those young guys come along. They’re a very well-coached team, and I have the utmost respect for Curt (Onalfo), and I think he’s one of the best coaches in the league.”

Arizona will look to improve on defense as it is still a concern this season. With all the attacking presence LA Galaxy II have, this will be a good test to see how good this Arizona team really is and also show what players they need FC Dallas to loan to them so they could be better this season.
