Work permit in hand and physical apparently passed, US International and former FC Dallas winger Brek Shea has made the jump from College Station to the Barclay’s Premier League side Stoke City.
The Potters, FC Dallas and Major League Soccer announced today that the move was completed. Per policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed by FC Dallas or MLS. Varying reports have cast questions about how successful this move was for the Dallas pro side and MLS.
What is certain is that the US now has another international player plying his trade in a top league and FC Dallas has roster room, cap space and allocation money to work with. Now the question is whether the Texan can establish himself as a starter with the Premeir League side and how well FC Dallas’ technical director Fernando Clavijo can put the team’s new assets to good use.
