Sidekicks add another win to their unblemished record
ROCKFORD, Ill. _ The Dallas Sidekicks continued their triumphant return to professional indoor soccer with a convincing 11-4 road victory against the Rockford Rampage.
The Sidekicks overcame an 8th minute goal by Admir Ljeljak with a goal just over a minute later by Ricardinho. The Brazilian took the assist from Jamie Lovegrove to tie the score.
Carlos Videla and Frank Mbemba then scored to give Dallas a lead it would not relinquish. The Rampage’s Elvir Kafedzic scored at the 3:00 mark of the second period to make it 3-2, but goals from Sidekicks legend Nick Stavrou, Renato Pereira and Ricardino broke the game open for good.
Kiley Couch and Robert Luevano would add their names to the score-sheet before the night was done, and Jamie Lovegrove would add two of his own goals for the final talley.
This result puts the Sidekicks at 8-0 on the season and keeps them in first place in the division. Dallas next plays on January 6 in Chicago.
